The Appointed Person course can be a cost effective way of training a large number of staff in basic first aid. In schools it allows teachers to carry out emergency aid whilst a more qualified member of staff is called to assist. For teachers in an Early Years setting we offer the 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course which meets Ofsted recommendations.
A course of this length can be delivered in a long evening session (perhaps 5-9.30 allowing for a break), during the day or at weekends. We can also provide training in Fire Safety, Manual Handling and Health & Safety. We provide all the equipment necessary to deliver the training.
